After pickup from Arusha, drive to Materuni Village. Begin with a guided trek through banana and coffee farms to the impressive Materuni Waterfall. Enjoy the view or take a refreshing dip in the natural pool. Then, return to the village for a hands-on coffee-making tour, where you'll roast, grind, and brew your own cup of local Arabica. A wonderful waterfall in the foot of Kilimanjaro mountain. The waterfall is very high and majestic to stand right below it. A short hike of about 45 minutes is needed to reach the waterfall from the place that the 4×4 car leaves you. This is usually part of a day-trip where after the hike you get to try local stuff like homemade coffee from nearby coffee plantations and banana beer/honey.
